Pam Moffa

INSTRUCTOR

Pam has been practicing yoga for over 15 years. When she began practicing in her gym, she loved the physical benefits yoga provided – strength, flexibility and balance. She quickly discovered how yoga provided benefits beyond just the physical. Having a high stress career in the corporate world, Pam looked forward to the calming and meditative effects of each yoga class. Knowing how we benefit from a regular practice, Pam’s favorite nugget about yoga is “yoga is called a practice for a reason.”

Pam soon discovered she wanted to share her love of yoga in a more meaningful way, which led her to complete her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at Journey of Yoga under the guidance of Maggie Durbas. This training included hands-on teaching sessions with students of all ages and abilities. Pam particularly enjoys teaching gentle Vinyasa and Yin yoga. She believes that even the subtlest of movement can make significant impact.

Recognizing that many people have misconceptions about what yoga is or isn't, Pam uses her voice on and off the mat to help people understand how accessible yoga is for everyone. Pam makes her students feel welcomed by creating a nurturing and safe environment while keeping things light and fun. Her favorite mantra is “yoga meets you where you are.”

When Pam is not on the mat, she enjoys spin/cycling classes, cooking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
