What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is a Sanskrit word that means “Wisdom of Life.” Originally only taught verbally from teacher to student, Ayurveda has been passed down through many centuries as a complete healing system.
Ayurveda views everything in the universe as being some combination of three constitutional doshas: Vata, Pitta and Kapha. We are born with a certain combination of these doshas, however, due to our environment, diet, lifestyle, and stress, we become out of balance.
