Mallory’s yoga journey began only a few short years ago after wandering in to a yoga class to try an indoor winter activity. She was drawn in by the physical aspects, but learned quickly that it was the mental and spiritual aspects that would keep her coming back. Mallory completed her 200 hour training with Maggie at Journey of Yoga in 2016 and feels honored to be a part of the JOY sangha!
In teaching, Mallory combines mindfulness, gentle stretching, and breathing techniques to create a safe space in which students can begin to explore the mind/body connection. Additionally, she utilizes her experience as a full time social worker to tap into the emotional and spiritual healing that yoga can bring.
When she isn’t working, teaching or taking yoga — Mallory loves music, reading, and hiking with her dog, Vincent.
